What is personal data?
By personal data we mean all information relating to your person, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, VAT number etc. (hereinafter referred to as "data").
Personal data is collected if you voluntarily provide it to us during a trade fair, a telephone call, correspondence, when ordering goods or opening a customer account or registering for our website.

We process the data provided by you when making contact during a sales event or via our web shop as well as in the course of business for the administration of your personal customer contact and account and thus for the following purposes and on the basis of the following legal bases: wholesale and retail trade with jewellery, consent (Art 6 para 1 DSGVO), for fulfilment of a contract. We use the data communicated by you without your separate consent exclusively for the fulfilment and handling of your order.
Newsletter
If you register for our newsletter, we can use your data to the extent permitted by law for advertising purposes. You can object to this by contacting our customer service (see contact details above). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter; no costs are incurred for this except for transmission costs according to the basic tariffs.
Use of cookies on our website
Our web shop uses cookies to secure the sessions of visitors to the shop. These cookies store information, such as items in the shopping cart, so that they remain available for visitors even after a brief interruption in the shop. For non logged in visitors this information is stored for 24 minutes, after which the sessions lose their validity.

To whom is your personal data passed on?
We are supported in fulfilling your order by IT service providers, who therefore process your personal data for us to the extent necessary. We use the data provided by you without your separate consent exclusively for the fulfilment and processing of your order.
How long will your data be kept?
As a matter of principle, we keep your data for the duration of the legitimate business transaction with you. In addition, we are subject to statutory storage obligations, according to which we must store data relating to your person and the customer/contract relationship even beyond the execution of the contract, as is the case, for example, due to the storage periods under company law. Furthermore, we keep your data for as long as is necessary for the assertion of legal claims arising from the contractual relationship with you.
In addition, you can view all orders placed in your customer account in principle without time limit in our webshop www.thecraftshop.at, provided you have registered as a customer and received a personal access code. If you wish, your customer data and thus also this information can be deleted; in this case please contact Matthias Dorbath, dorbath@livingvienna.at. A deletion can, however, also be made by us without prior notice. You therefore have no claim to unlimited access.
